Welcome to Gore Street, Piccolo’s newest iteration.
385 Gore Street is a partnership between Piccolo, renowned architecture practice Woods Bagot and distinguished interior design studio Hecker Guthrie. Our shared passion for quality, longevity and innovation – together with our long history of successful collaboration – has allowed us to set a new benchmark for inner-city living at 385 Gore Street.
EXPERIENCE & LANDSCAPE
Occupying a covetable corner aspect, Gore Street embodies the civic and botanical atmosphere of its locale. Leaning into the charming qualities of its streetscape, a collection of abiding residences set within a lush garden setting has emerged.
EXPERIENCE & LANDSCAPE
Arrival at Gore Street signals a moment of recalibration. Stepping across distinct thresholds between public thoroughfare into an immersive front garden and then a gallery-like entry foyer allows for a gentle shedding of the rigours of the day.
Once inside, sculptural art and a mirrored box which reflects both the garden and the red brick architectural details, pull focus dissolving the border between inside and out to welcome residents home.
MODULES OF HOME
A considered approach and methodology of design is evident in each Piccolo House. Replete with visual details, a curation of art, noble materials and smoothly unfolding spatial compositions herald a new standard for Melbourne apartment living.
Within the residences themselves, interior palettes are textural yet refined, soft yet strong with design details that continue the resilient architectural language while deepening the sensorial engagement. Broadloom carpets, terrazzo, oak and brushed nickel are reconciled by natural and ambient light to clarify deeply considered homes of exceptional quality.
A HOUSE BEYOND HOME
the guest house
Gore Street’s Guest House is a hotel-like space curated by local designers and replete with luxurious products.
Offering residents a place for their visitor’s stay that retains a sense of independence and freedom without compromising on the feeling of home, the Guest House evolves and elevates the guest experience.
